WEYMOUTH travelled back to Dorset with a point after a draw with 10-man promotion chasers Braintree Town.
The Terras had a gilt-edged chance to take the lead in the 18th minute. Ahkeem Rose threaded a ball through the middle of the defence to Tom Blair. The winger pushed into the penalty area to find himself one-on-one with Jack Sims. Blair shot at the near post but the keeper got down low to his left to parry the ball away.
Braintree started the second half well and came the closest to taking the lead in the opening minute.
