BILLY VIGAR’S first-half header proved the difference as Eastbourne Borough started the new season with three points.
The Sports were dominant in the first half and began on the front foot. Decarrey Sheriff fired wide early on before Mark Beard’s side went in front. A cross from Shiloh Remy picked out Arsenal loanee Vigar at the far post and his diving header gave Adam Desbois no chance.
