TRURO CITY returned to National League South in some style, hitting five past Welling United at Bolitho Park.
A brace from new signing Adam Porter, along with strikes from Rocky Neal, Ed Palmer and Tyler Harvey gave the White Tigers a dream start.
Playing Step 2 football for the first time in four years, Paul Wotton’s men opened the scoring inside five minutes. Man of the match Neal beat the offside trap and expertly chipped over the keeper to give his side the lead.
