GEORGE WILLIAMS’ penalty proved enough for Hemel Hempstead Town at Welling United. The Tudors came out the sharper and Chris Smith met a Williams corner but Ben Winterbottom blocked his header. Reece Grant then chased a long clearance but missed the target when lobbing Winterbottom. Welling came close when Jephte Tanga sent Alex MacAllister clear but his dinked effort floated just beyond the far post.
