GOALS from Jake Hyde and Rhys Murphy were enough to give Yeovil Town victory over a battling St Albans City at a vibrant Huish Park.
Mark Cooper’s men were looking to bounce back after the opening-day defeat at City’s Hertfordshire neighbours Hemel Hempstead and got off to a dream start when Hyde deflected a cross past keeper Michael Johnson on three minutes. Saints responded with Mitchell Weiss feeding Jack James, who brought a fine save out of home keeper Will Buse before Hyde and Murphy went close at the other end.
