AN INJURY-HIT Hemel Hempstead side were always going to be up against it against Maidstone but they gave a good account of themselves at Vauxhall Road.
Both sides had chances in the first period and, although Maidstone had more possession, it was Hemel who created the better opportunities, but on every occasion a Stones defender was there to block.
It was the visitors who took the lead just before the interval when an excellent crossfield ball found Razzaq Coleman De-Graft unmarked at the back post and he slotted home superbly...
