Saints grip victory after Weiss goal

A MITCHELL Weiss strike proved to be the difference as St Albans City came away with all three points.
The hosts burst out of the gates and were denied an opener inside 90 seconds as Mitchell Beeney tipped Giorgio Rasulo’s goal-bound strike away at full stretch. Moussa Diarra was unfortunate not to open the scoring soon after when his volley deflected wide.
Dartford went even closer deep in first-half added time. Lewis Manor met a corner at the back post and sent a header towards target that crashed off of the bar.
