Matt finish ensures derby spoils shared

AVELEY were held by ten man Braintree Town in a competitive Essex Derby.
Braintree started the game fast – Aaron Blair forced Jonathan North into a brilliant save, and John White had an effort hooked goal-wards was hacked off the line by Nana Kyei.
The early pressure told as Matt Carson took aim from long range and saw his deflected effort flash past North for the lead.
