TWO second-half goals from Braintree saw the Essex side defeat their Somerset counterparts on home turf.
Jacob Jagger Cane had the game’s first shot when he fired over the bar from 25 yards when the ball dropped to him following a free-kick, before Vicente Reyes smothered a James Dodd flick at the near post.
Weston keeper Harry Lee was called into action to push an Aaron Blair header over the bar from a Gio Crichlow cross, while Robbie Willmott had a free-kick pushed over by Reyes from 20 yards.
