Alex raises Millers up to second spot

AVELEY moved into second place in National League South with victory at Clarence Park.
The visitors were inches away from taking the lead inside the opening two minutes when Matt Rush struck the bar.
Midway through the half Charlee Hughes was brought down by Sam Bentley in the St Albans goal and referee Robert Ablitt pointed to the spot.
Siju Odelusi stepped up and saw his spot kick pushed wide by Bentley.
