DEBUTANT IBIE LEADS CHARGE FOR THE MILLERS

A GOAL either side of half-time was enough to secure all three points for Aveley at Parkside, which keeps the Millers second in the National South.
The game was stopped inside ten seconds after a clash of heads saw Weston’s wing back Keiran Thomas off with concussion. After 15 minutes Jalen Jones pulled off an unbelievable block to loop the ball on to the bar from a Luke Pearce effort.
Aveley should have had a penalty just after the half-hour, Alex Hernandez was taken out from behind in the box, but a goal kick was given.
