BATH CITY’s Chris Lines had the perfect setting for his 650th career appearance last week.
Having watched Bristol Rovers from the terraces at Twerton Park as a youngster, the midfielder reached his big milestone at the same venue in City’s 3-0 win over Taunton Town last week.
And just like his career debut for Rovers against Chester City in January 2006, it was as a brief substitute, and combined with his 50th outing for the Romans.
