PEACOCKS SO PROUD BUT NO POINTS AS FOG WINS

THE heavy fog put pay to this fixture at half-time on the East Sussex coast.
Taunton Town had been leading 2-1 at Priory Lane before the weather drew in along the south coast, with referee Lewis Sandoe calling a halt to proceedings after a 20- minute break after the half-time interval.
On the pitch, the visitors were quickly into their stride and went in front after just four minutes. A long ball allowed Nick McCootie to slot past Harrison Foulkes from a tight angle.
