ST ALBANS CITY came from behind to overcome ten-man Chelmsford City.
The home side should have taken the lead early on when Ibby Akanbi latched on to a loose ball in the box and struck the post.
The follow-up fell to Shaun Jeffers, who with the goal at his mercy, saw his attempt somehow saved by Jacob Marsden.
Less than a minute later, however, Chelmsford had scored with their first attempt. Ody Alfa burst down the left and crossed for Callum Watts, who hit a half-volley into the far corner.
