Iron turn tables on high-flying Hawks

TITLE challengers Hampton & Richmond lost ground on leaders Yeovil Town after suffering a deserved defeat at the hands of Braintree Town.
Shaquile Coulthirst and Matt Ward linked up dangerously throughout the opening exchanges. The duo combined well to open up the visitors’ defence in the 17th minute but Ward failed to get a shot away.
Sixteen minutes later and Ward did score with a powerful curling strike which was misjudged by Hampton & Richmond keeper Adam Desbois.
