TITLE challengers Hampton & Richmond lost ground on leaders Yeovil Town after suffering a deserved defeat at the hands of Braintree Town. Shaquile Coulthirst and Matt Ward linked up dangerously throughout the opening exchanges. The duo combined well to open up the visitors’ defence in the 17th minute but Ward failed to get a shot away.
