DEFENDER Jake Wannell’s goal sealed victory for the league leaders who had to battle against struggling Havant & Waterlooville.
The Hawks nearly opened the scoring in the fifth minute as Kai Innocent’s cross from the left was met by the head of Ryan Seager, then Calum Kealy, before hitting the bar.
Yeovil began to have more possession, which culminated in the games only goal as Wannell got his foot on to a low driven cross following a corner.
