Match Preview: Taunton Town v Weston-super-Mare (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Weston-super-Mare make the journey to the Cygnet Health Care Stadium to play Taunton Town on late Tuesday looking to pick up points to end their three-game losing streak.

Weston-super-Mare’s struggles have left them with nine points from their last six National League South matches, while their opponents have earned five from a possible 18.

Taunton are 20th in the table after 30 games, of which they have won seven and drawn 13, earning 34 points.

Weston-super-Mare are four places ahead of Town in 16th, with 12 wins and six draws putting them on 42 points.

With 32 goals in 30 games so far this season, the hosts are the league’s lowest scorers with 1.1 goals per game. And they are conceding at an average rate, letting in 46 goals at a rate of 1.5 per game.
