Terras look set to beat the drop

WEYMOUTH won’t need a great escape to beat the drop this season as this flattering defeat over keen rivals Havant & Waterlooville all but confirms a third season at Step 2 with 50 points in the bag.
The Terras found themselves a goal to the good just seconds after Havant came inches away from the opener themselves.
A menacing run and cross from Kwaku Donkor teed up skipper Jake Mc-Carthy to sweep an effort against the bar but the Terras broke quickly to net at the other end.
