Match Preview: Hampton and Richmond v Dover Athletic (Saturday, 3pm)

Hampton and Richmond face Dover Athletic at the Beveree Stadium on Saturday looking to secure a first win in seven National League South games.

They face a Dover side who have won one and drawn three over that time.

Dover are bottom of the table after 43 games, of which they have won four and drawn 15, earning 27 points.

Hampton & Richmond are 17 places ahead of Athletic in seventh, with 19 wins and 12 draws putting them on 69 points.

With 39 goals in 43 games so far this season, the Whites are the league’s lowest scorers with 0.9 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 72 goals at a rate of 1.7 per game.

The hosts, meanwhile, are average scorers, with 1.4 goals per game. They have conceded 1.2 goals per game.

In the last three years, Hampton & Richmond and Dover have played each other on three occasions. Hampton & Richmond won two of them and Dover one.

Their last meeting was on November 4, when Hampton & Richmond won 1-0 away.

Dover drew 1-1 with Hemel Hempstead Town last time out, on April 6.
