Generals make their mark on league bow

CHESHAM UNITED claimed their first point at Step 2 with a courageous comeback.
Trailing Eastbourne Borough for a long spell, the equaliser came desperately late, but was fully merited. Four minutes remained when a Chesham corner was knocked back across the box by Jack Cawley, and as exhausted bodies stretched for it, substitute Nathan Minhas bobbled his header past three defenders on the line to claim a fully deserved point for the National South newcomers.
