Millar seals it for Boro in drab affair

TWO contrasting halves greeted the spectators at Cherrywood Road.
A dour first half shorn of creativity and invention had more substitutions to show for it than shots, with both the hosts and visitors losing players to injury: Olly Robinson for Farnborough and Ken Charles for St Albans.
The pall of smoke drifting over the ground from the fire on the next door allotment hardly helped improve the game although probably did help obscure from the fans the turgid fare served up by the deadlocked sides.
