CODY COOKE’S goal was enough to secure his side a win against Hampton & Richmond.
The breakthrough was made in the 22nd minute when a looping ball into the penalty area from Matt Carson found Cody Cooke. The forward managed to find the net with his header to give the visitors the lead.
Torquay almost extended their advantage after Ben Seymour’s volley in the penalty area was well saved by Ted Curd. Cooke thought he had a second, but the flag was up for offside.
