MAIDSTONE UNITED are still searching for their first home league win of the season after striking the bar once in each half.
It was Slough who came the closest to opening the scoring early on. Jeanmal Prosper’s header from close range looked certain to go in but Alexis Andre Jr made a superb stop.
Then on 31 minutes, a Charlie Seaman cross was sliced onto his own bar by Lexus Beeden.
Aaron Blair was well-placed but he was caught off-balance and his effort dropped just over the bar.
