BENTON GETS THE STONES SHOUTING

A SOLITARY goal from Jon Benton gave Maidstone United their first home league win of the season, as the Stones extended their unbeaten run to eight matches.
Ben Brookes caused Hemel Hempstead problems throughout with his deliveries into the box and it was from one of these that the Stones hit the bar. A low corner from Brookes was met by Temi Eweka and his side-footed effort clipped the bar.
