Tinners show their mettle to clip Wings

TEN-MAN Welling United suffered defeat as Truro City did just enough to go within one goal of topping the table.
Dave Winfield had the first chance when heading wide at the far post from a Gene Kennedy corner before Anthony Grant volleyed wide. Tyler Harvey’s header was off target for Truro before the Wings went ahead. Winfield recycled a corner and it came to Zain Walker, whose drive took a massive deflection off Will Dean to fly home with goalkeeper Dan Lavercombe wrongfooted.
