CHIPPENHAM TOWN recorded a comfortable victory on the road as they overcame managerless St Albans City at Clarence Park.
The visitors found the woodwork within three minutes of the start, as Tom Mehew’s header from a Tom Owen-Evans cross found the top of the bar in a strong breeze.
St Albans had the ball in the net In the 12th minute, but found the assistant’s flag in their way as it was raised against Jack James.
