Last minute goal deepens City’s agony

KWESI APPIAH struck at the last as Boreham Wood bagged a hard-fought win.
The visitors started well and deservedly went ahead in the ninth minute as Appiah headed home Tom Whelan’s corner without a challenge.
Bath grew into the contest and saw Luke Russe’s lob bounce agonisingly across goal, with the tricky Ben Seymour drawing a save from Nathan Ashmore.
Their leveller finally arrived when Jordan Alves struck a free-kick around the wall and into the bottom corner.
