THIS draw at the Gallagher Stadium had a distinctly end-of-season feel as Maidstone United drew with relegated Weymouth.
The first half was a flat affair with neither keeper called into any meaningful action. With two minutes
played, Weymouth kept possession well and Jake McCarthy crossed for Malachi Linton whose header was not far off target.
For the Stones, Sol Wanjau-Smith passed to Tayt Trusty and his low drive went straight into Will Buse’s hands. Then with 34 minutes gone, a long kick from Alexis Andre Jr dropped just over.
