Hornets’ sting too strong for Towners

HORSHAM’S first home fixture in weeks ended in hard-fought victory, making it three league wins in a row.
It was game of two halves for the hosts. Enfield were the better team in the opening 45 minutes, giving their opponents no space before the Hornets’ took over.
On 20 minutes, Lewis Carey made a good save off a low shot from the visitors’ Billy Leonard.
Soon after, Horsham had the first of two unsuccessful penalty appeals, with Charlie Hester-Cook tackled close to goal.
