EBBSFLEET UNITED thumped Torquay United to move above them into fourth place as the battle for promotion heats up.
Neil Warnock was in caretaker charge of Torquay for a second game but he suffered a dominant display by the hosts.
Injury-hit Torquay looked devoid of confidence and named only four substitutes but it was an excellent performance from Ebbsfleet.
Kwesi Appiah had already warmed the palms of James Hamon and had a goal ruled out for a foul by the time the Fleet went ahead on 30 minutes.
