HORSHAM played out only their second goalless draw of the season as the Hornets frustrated play-off chasing Maidstone United.
Charlie Hester-Cook forced a low save from Stones’ goalkeeper Lenny Holden. Then from the resulting corner, the unmarked midfielder rose highest but saw his header flash over the crossbar.
Throughout a scrappy first half, clear-cut chances were at a premium. Maidstone’s Riley Court fired a free-kick over the wall but also the bar, while a surging run from Hester-Cook past four players could only end...
