HEMEL HEMPSTEAD ended Torquay United’s four-match winning run to move above the Gulls in the play-off race.
The result leaves United needing a win on the final day of the campaign to make their own place in the play-offs mathematically certain, and manager Jimmy Ball wasn’t making excuses for his side’s display.
