Stones’ super revival will count for nothing

MAIDSTONE United missed out on the play-off places despite recovering from 2-0 down away to relegated Bath City. A draw for Maidenhead saw the Stones finish eighth on goal difference in George Elokobi’s final match in charge.
Bath’s Scott Wilson lashed home on the volley inside three minutes when Joe Raynes’ long throw was not fully cleared by the Stones.
And the forward had his second just before half-time when he rifled home from 18 yards after Lenny Holden had initially parried from Alex Fisher.
