FARNBOROUGH got their season off to a winning start away at Maidstone United thanks to goals from Mason Bloomfield and Michael Reindorf.
Farnborough should have taken the lead on 34 minutes. Leo Hamblin lost possession and Tyler Frost found Reindorf, who was denied by Lenny Holden and with the goal at his mercy, Frost fired against the post.
But two minutes into stoppage time, Boro broke through. Sam Barratt’s cross from the right was met by Mason Bloomfield, who headed into the net.
