HITCHIN were pegged back by Frome, only to immediately retake the lead through a wonder strike from Connor Vincent ten minutes from time.
The Canaries drew first blood when Elliot Bailey shot home in the 13th minute.
Hitchin doubled their lead from a short corner in the 33rd minute, which allowed Josh Bickerstaff to hit a hopeful cross that evaded everyone and nestled low in the far corner.
It was 3-0 two minutes later, Vincent clinically capitalising on a high bouncing ball that deceived the home defence.
