CENTURIONS last season, it still wasn’t to be for King’s Lynn Town as the runners-up were beaten in the playoff final by Slough Town.
Even if they’d won it would have been manager Ian Culverhouse’s last game following his surprise resignation during the run-in.
Simon Clark, the former Worksop Town manager who also played for Lynn, has taken over with the club once again holding high ambitions for the new campaign.
