LEISTON won on the opening game of the season again as a resolute Coalville were dispatched at Victory Road.
Jake Reed and Matt Blake headed over early chances for the hosts while Coalville’s first chances saw an alert Kyle Hammond clear a cross, while captain Steve Towers shot straight at home custodian Marcus Garnham. The hosts’ Christy Finch’s cross from the left was met by Dominic Docherty, who headed against the crossbar while Finch was again in the action a minute later but Max Smith- Varnam parried his effort away.
