IT WAS very much a game of two halves in the battle between two promoted teams.
The Whites started strongly, Chris Shephard having a scuffed shot in the first minute and both Aaron Dawson and Luke Hopper going close. For the home side a 17th-minute header by Jerome Eccleston was their best early effort.
Salisbury took the lead on 28 minutes when Shephard sent in a free kick that was met by the head of Luke Hopper.
