TAMWORTH continue to struggle in their opening encounters in the new Southern League Central and it was no different against last season’s play-off finalists, King’s Lynn Town.
Despite early signs of an intent to get a first win in two dozen games, the Lambs nearly gave the Linnets a helping hand when Regan Upton headed past his own keeper on 28 minutes but Jas Singh somehow managed to keep it out.
