THIS game resembled more of a basketball affair, with chances galore at both ends during the 90 minutes. With both attacks looking lively and both defences decidely shaky, it could have been 4-3 by half time.
As it was it was 2-0 to Merthyr with Ashley Evans heading home Kerry Morgan’s cross on 13 minutes and Ian Traylor scoring from a similar spot and from a similar cross six minutes later.
