STRATFORD put their recent woes behind them with their first win since the opening day as they were too strong for bottom side Bedworth. The hosts pushed from the start and went ahead when Mike Taylor headed in Chris Cox’s 16th-minute cross.
Five minutes later they should have gone two up when Wilson Carvalho seized on a mistake in the Bedworth defence to surge through and skip past advancing keeper Dan Crane only to then shoot against the post with the goal gaping.
