GOSPORT secured their second win in a week thanks to a solitary goal from new signing George Barker.
Borough impressed on Boxing Day with a 3-2 win over Basingstoke and followed it up with another important victory to put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone.
For Hartley Wintney, this result saw them slip to 11th but they have enjoyed a good start on the whole to life at Step 3 and will aim to push on in the new year.
