DIDCOT bolstered their play-off hopes as they returned to winning ways with a confident 2-0 triumph at home to Yaxley.
The hosts opened the scoring in the first 10 minutes when John Dennis fired home from close range after Seth Humphries had seen a shot saved by Ollie Sutton. Both sides struggled to get the ball down, with the weather conditions worsening, and the hosts went in ahead at the break. Didcot doubled their advantage just two minutes into the second half as a teasing cross from Lance Williams was headed into his own net by Dalton Bettles.
