FIVEgoals in the final quarter of an hour gave Winchester a 7-0 win against Barnstaple.
Barnstaple started the match brightly.
The first notable chance of the game was when Winchester’s Rob Carr hit the inside of the post.
Barnstaple were reduced to 10 men when Jack Jenkins was sent off for a foul on Jamie Barron late on in the first half.
Winchester used the extra man to their advantage as they took the lead in the 38th minute when Oli Bailey was fouled and Barron converted the resultant penalty.
