Police’s push is halted by Tiverton

TIVERTON Town dented Met Police’s promotion push with a well deserved victory.
Tiverton started well with Max Smallcombe bursting through on goal after five minutes but the Met keeper saved well with his feet.
Callum Hall on ten minutes, bursting through, saw his shot blaze over the bar and the pressure was mounting.
The Met always looked dangerous and had their own chance on 35 minutes when Tivvy’s chief tormentor in previous meetings, Ethan Chislett, struck the crossbar.
