Levi penalty enough for Town

TIVERTON Town narrowly beat Gosport Borough.
And it turned out to be a very tight contest indeed with the only goal deciding the tie was a Levi Landricombe first-half spot kick.
The best chance created, besides the penalty, came through Landricombe whose strike from just outside the area rattled the crossbar.
This early dominance led to the referee’s biggest decision of the game: a penalty that came from a cross that was deflected by the hand of Gosport’s Joe Lea.
