HARTLEY Wintney kept their discipline and inflicted a damaging defeat on Hendon.
Michael Campbell probably should have given the visitors the lead inside two minutes but he shot straight at Andrew McCorkell.
A shot from Hendon’s Luke Tingey was blocked before Hartley Wintney took the lead in the 17th minute. Hendon failed to deal with a free-kick before Mitchell Parker shot home.
Just before half-time, McCorkell was dismissed for a professional foul after a 3- on-1 break and Lee Chappell took between the sticks.
