A FINE second-half performance from Beaconsfield saw them overcome Wimborne and all but much secure their Premier Division South status for another season.
The first 45 was in truth a pretty forgettable affair for both sides. The Rams’ Brendan Matthew did force a decent save out of visiting goalkeeper Gerard Benfield in the 16th minute, while the Magpies’ Tobias Holmes brought a decent stop out of the home side’s Ravan Constable five minutes later, but neither side really got a hold of the game.
