AN EMPHATIC performance saw Mangotsfield United move clear of the relegation zone with an 8-1 win over fellow strugglers Slimbridge.
Daniel Demkiv scored twice in the opening 15 minutes as Slimbridge struggled to make any impact on the pitch, and goals from Keith Kearney and Lee Hartshorn put them 4-0 down inside half an hour.
James Ollis continued the Mangotsfield onslaught before the break, with Christopher Peck adding another just after half-time.
